Orange, orange, orange: Nicht nur auf unserem ersten Foto der neuen Redaktion in Frankfurt. Das liegt nat\u00fcrlich daran, dass wir unsere neuen Redaktionsr\u00e4ume im Geb\u00e4ude des Gemeinschaftswerkes der evangelischen Publizistik GEP gGmbH bezogen haben.<\/p>\n\n

Das warme Orange spiegelt aber auch\u00a0die lustig-kreative Stimmung unseres Workshops zur Gr\u00fcndung von Amal in Frankfurt wider. Zwei Tage haben wir diskutiert, geplant und viel gelacht. Jetzt kann es losgehen. Amal bekommt eine neue Redaktion in Frankfurt am Main.<\/p>\n

Nochmal zum Verst\u00e4ndnis: Ab sofort starten wir\u00a0ein Projekt, in dem vorerst sechs Praktikantinnen und Praktikanten mitarbeiten. Je zwei pro Sprache: Arabisch, Dari\/Farsi und Ukrainisch. Sie werden in drei Monaten die Arbeitsweise und die Strukturen von Amal in Berlin und Hamburg erkunden und beginnen, eine Redaktion und eine Leser:innenschaft in Frankfurt aufzubauen. Ab demn\u00e4chst werden auf Social Media bereits regelm\u00e4\u00dfig Nachrichten aus Frankfurt und Umgebung ausgespielt. Wir nennen es Softlaunch. Im Januar soll\u00a0dann die Webseite an den Start gehen.<\/p>\n

Apropos Frankfurt und Umgebung. \u00dcber ein Thema haben wir w\u00e4hrend unseres Workshops besonders lange diskutiert: Wie soll die neue Plattform hei\u00dfen?\u00a0Amal, Frankfurt! <\/strong>klingt besonders gut und passt ins Schema der anderen Namen. Doch der Name ist ein bisschen zu klein f\u00fcr das neue Projekt, schlie\u00dflich ist das Berichtsgebiet viel gr\u00f6\u00dfer als die Stadt. Das zeigt sich auch\u00a0in der Zusammensetzung der Redaktion:\u00a0Eine Kollegin kommt aus Frankfurt, eine aus Mainz, einer aus Marburg und auch Offenbach und H\u00f6chst sind vertreten.\u00a0Also, w\u00e4re Amal, Rhein-Main-Gebiet!<\/strong> gut. Naja, oder auch nicht, denn, wenn man Rhein-Main auf Arabisch schreibt, dann stiftet man mehr Verwirrung als Pr\u00e4zision. Schreibt man doch auf Arabisch und Persisch in der Regel die kurzen Vokale nicht und dann wird aus Rhein-Main schnell Riin-Miin…..bitte, was? Genau. So haben wir uns auf Amal, Frankfurt!<\/strong> geeinigt und auf Deutsch steht im Untertitel Rhein-Main-Gebiet.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Wir freuen uns, dass wir am 1.9.2022 an der Er\u00f6ffnungsveranstaltung zu den Frankfurter Tagen des Exils teilnehmen konnten und dort sehr freundlich angek\u00fcndigt und einbezogen wurden. Das war ein guter Start und ein perfekter Einstieg in die Berichterstattung \u00fcber tolle Events und ein prallgef\u00fclltes Programm.<\/p>\n
